Turning Complex Research into Clear, Human Stories
I’ve spent 13 years in academia — teaching, mentoring, and collaborating with researchers at every career stage.
Over the years, I noticed something striking:
even the most brilliant researchers often struggle to make their work heard and understood.

It’s not a knowledge problem.
It’s a communication problem — one that affects how researchers present, collaborate, and even feel about their work.

What sets my work apart is the perspective I bring from more than 13 years inside academia. I’ve taught, supervised, and collaborated with researchers across disciplines and cultures, and I understand both the demands of research and the communication challenges that come with it. My workshops grow from real academic experience — the presentations that didn’t land, the ideas that deserved more clarity, and the moments when a small shift in communication changed everything. I don’t step into the room as an external consultant, but as someone who has lived the same pressures and complexities. That grounding allows me to help researchers express their ideas with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.

My Journey
I began my career in academic research, working closely with international teams and students.
As my work evolved, I found myself more drawn to the human side of research — the moments of confusion, frustration, and breakthrough that happen when people try to explain complex ideas.
In time, I started designing and facilitating workshops on presentation skills, communication, and collaboration — at universities and within European research projects such as TU Delft and beyond.
Every session reinforced one idea: clarity and confidence can transform how researchers experience their work.

Today, I combine my academic insight with practical communication tools to help others:
-
express their research in ways people remember,
-
collaborate more effectively, and
-
sustain motivation in a demanding research culture.

My Approach
Clear ideas, confident voices, connected teams.

Those three principles shape everything I teach.
My workshops blend storytelling, reflection, and academic empathy — because communication in research isn’t just about slides or data.
It’s about finding language that bridges knowledge and people.

Each session I design is:
-
Practical — grounded in real research communication challenges.
-
Empathetic — built on understanding what it feels like to be inside academia.
-
Interactive — combining discussion, reflection, and applied practice.

Why I'm Unique
What sets my work apart is the perspective I bring from more than 13 years inside academia. I’ve taught, supervised, and collaborated with researchers across disciplines and cultures, and I understand both the demands of research and the communication challenges that come with it. My workshops grow from real academic experience — the presentations that didn’t land, the ideas that deserved more clarity, and the moments when a small shift in communication changed everything. I don’t step into the room as an external consultant, but as someone who has lived the same pressures and complexities. That grounding allows me to help researchers express their ideas with confidence, clarity, and authenticity.
Beyond Communication
I believe that effective research communication strengthens collaboration and well-being.
When people feel heard and understood, teams work better, and individuals feel more fulfilled.
That’s why my work now bridges communication, collaboration, and sustainability in research — helping academics not only share their ideas, but also thrive in the process.
